The Technion Student House is designed as a fourth side to complement the buildings surrounding the expanded Forum Square. Externally, the design of the student house building fits in and forms part of the ensemble of the buildings surrounding the forum. In keeping with this, much thought was put into the facades of the building.
In the project we designed and implemented geometric systems of screen walls model 8300 SSG semi-structural between exposed concrete columns. The screen walls incorporate concealed Kip windows and on the ground floor model 4900 doors. Alongside the screen wall system, we implemented ceramic glass cladding systems and rainproof awnings covered with alucobond panels.
